Reserved Beauty

Not using lot's of them myself, I still enjoy cosmetics a lot. Mostly because the bottles and jars are so pretty, and because advertising is visually so amazing. I also like the trend of using actors in beauty ads, they usually are very beautiful and have that extra something in their persona.

Normally I don't read those small printed and folded notes which follow with cosmetic buys, but this time I found line "Reserved beauty" in cosmetic company Sensai's papers and wanted to read it trough.

They say magnificent lines, making it sound like it is never too late. Now I have made reservation to keep my youthness and beauty in our bath room (stored in those beautiful white cosmetic bottles). Amazing stuff, I've already used first bottle. But who writes those lyrics for these products?







Kauneutta varattu

Vaikken hirveästi käytä kosmetiikkaa, pidän siitä paljon. Pääasiassa kai ihastuttavien pullojen ja purnukoiden vuoksi, lisäksi visuaalisesti upeiden mainosten takia. Nykytrendi näyttelijöiden käyttämisestä mainoksissa on minusta kiinnostavaa, koska heillä on kauneuden lisäksi se jokin.

Yleensä en jaksa lukea niitä pieniprinttisiä taiteiltuja lappusia, joita kosmetiikkaostosten mukana tulee. Tällä kertaa kuitenkin huomasin tekstin "Kauneutta varauksetta" kosmetiikkayhtiö Sensain papereissa ja luin koko litanian.

Sehän kuulostaa upealta, kuin sanoisi ettei koskaan ole liian myöhäistä. Nyt minulla on siis varattu nuorekkuutta ja kauneutta purkeissa kylpyhuoneessamme. Se voide muuten on tosi ihanaa, minulla on jo toinen puteli menossa, mutta kuka lurittelee nuo sanoitukset noiden tuotteiden lappusiin?

Earlier I wrote about Axe's angelic ad, which amused and pleased me. There has been another funny angel ad out there a while. The story is about what is it to date an angel. :)

Even more hilarious is their hair product ad. Made me laught on loud. Lovely music by the way.

They must have incredibly fun when creating stories for these ads. What a job.

Suomenlinna  - another world just minutes away

One of the loveliest places in Helsinki is small islands of Suomenlinna. During short ferry cruise you can see center of Helsinki from sea and you get a view to small islands.

Suomenlinna is great choice for having a picnic, there are many parks and you can find also more private places if you want one. There are the culture and history enthousiasts at sights, sunbathers and picnicers in parks and families with little children in a very small charming swimming beach.

If you don't know what to do in Helsinki in summer, take your picnic basket and friends with you and head for the HKL ferry, price is reasonable - same you need to pay in trams or busses.

Suomenlinna - eri maailma ihan lähellä

Suomenlinna eli Suokki on yksi Helsingin ihanimmista paikoista. Lauttamatka Suomenlinnan pienille saarille on tosi kiva, siinä näkee saaristoa ja Helsingin keskustan mereltä päin.

Erityisen hyvä paikka Suomenlinna on aurinkoisella kelillä piknikille. Suokissa viihtyvät lapsiperheet viehättävällä miniuimarannalla ja auringonpalvojat auringossa, mutta myös kulttuurista ja historiasta kiinnostuneet. Otat vaan kaverit ja piknik-korin kainaloon ja painelet lautalle. HKL:n lautalla miniristeilyn hintakin on varsin sopuisa, sama hinta kuin ratikassa tai bussissa suuntaansa.

I found a nice surprice in Helsinki-Vantaa airport's Terminal 1 gates.  At first glimpse it seemed like a very modest white space, but actually that was the idea of Sit Down - Seize the Moment. It is a gallery of design chairs, where you can select your favourite one and sit down, seize the moment in silence.

This area relaxed me before flight to Paris. Notes on the wall had similar message. I hope we will have possibility to experience more this kind of design soon.

Holidays mean crafting to me. We gather whole family together and do some crafts with the little girls. These lovely youngsters have amazing imagination. We adults get inspired by their funny ideas and want to do some craftings ourselves.

This year it seems that we will not be able to meet in Easter time, so I will do my craftings alone using trendy pastel colours. I will show you photos of our gorgeous earlier years craftings, in which character called Eye-eye-eye poses cool leaning on a column, small birdies are tweeting mouths open and eggs look delicious after our paintshop treatment.
